Accolade is for the quality of integrated reporting to investors amongst top 100 JSE listed companies.

EY, professional services company has over the last 12 years undertaken the EY South Africa’s Annual Excellence in Financial Reporting Awards, rating the top 100 JSE listed* companies’ most recently published integrated reports. The purpose of the awards is to encourage and benchmark standards of excellence in the quality of integrated reporting to investors and other stakeholders in South Africa’s listed company sector. 

Momentum Metropolitan’s Integrated Report scored as Excellent, recognising it alongside 22 out of 100 companies achieving this standard and the only South African JSE listed insurer in this category. 

The Integrated Report provides information relating to our strategy and business model, operating context, material matters, risks and opportunities, governance, and operational performance. It covers the Momentum Metropolitan Group's primary activities, our portfolio of business, key support areas, and subsidiaries in our African and international operations. It therefore goes much further than the numbers and we encourage everyone to read the next edition when it is released on 29 September 2023 on Momentum Metropolitan’s website.

EY have placed emphasis on the quality of information presented – the relevance, understandability, accessibility, and connectedness of that information.  The Investor Relations and Group Marketing teams who work on the project are to be congratulated for their sustained excellence in meeting these demands.
