Kobus has over 30 years of experience as an executive and non-executive director in the financial services industry, with expertise in insurance, fintech, agriculture and tourism. He is the owner of Sweetspot Consulting, where he consults in the areas of leadership development and business strategy.

He previously spent over 20 years at Momentum Group Limited, managing Advice and Distribution, including Momentum Financial Planning and Momentum Distribution Services. He played a key role in business strategy, sales, distribution and marketing. After leaving Momentum Group Limited in 2008, he continued to support executives within the Group in leadership and business development for eight years.
